Special Olympics Arizona to Kick of 2024 Flag Football Regional Games

27 teams from Valley and Yuma to showcase skills in fun, friendly competition

Special Olympics Arizona is kicking off one its biggest regional competitions of the year, the 2024 Flag Football Games, which will feature close to 300 SOAZ athletes from the Valley and Yuma showcasing their skills in one of the organizations most popular sports, flag football.

A total of 27 teams (19 traditional teams comprised of Special Olympics athletes 8 Unified teams comprised of Special Olympics Arizona athletes and Unified Partners.  The games will take place at the Goodyear Recreation Campus – and for the first time ever will feature some of the games at night under the lights from 1 -9 p.m.
