First ever "Virtual" Breakfast with Champions will air on YouTube Live

We are just one month away from the 2020 “Virtual” Breakfast with Champions and can’t wait to get things going.

This year, for the first time, SOAZ will combine the Phoenix, Tucson and Northern Arizona Breakfast with Champions events into one “virtual” event that will be aired on YouTube Live on Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 6 p.m.

Additionally, with the event running during the evening, this year’s Breakfast With Champions has been aptly named “Breakfast for Dinner”.

“The 2020 Breakfast With Champions will definitely be unique,” Heckerman said. “It will be virtual, it will combine all three of our events, and it will be in the evening. But our athletes and supporters have adapted to the changes in our programming due to Covid and we know the community will rally to help support Special Olympics Arizona at our biggest fundraiser of the year. We look forward to seeing everyone digitally and to showcase some amazing athletes and stories.”

While this year’s 2020 Breakfast will feature all online content, the mission still remains the same – to celebrate Inclusion. The program will feature inspiring stories from some of SOAZ’s amazing athletes, while encouraging everyone to help Special Olympics Arizona push forward and help spread the message of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

The 2020 Virtual Breakfast With Champions is FREE for everyone, and since this year the event is online, there is no limit to the number of attendees, so anyone can watch on their computer, phone, tablet or smart T.V. on the Special Olympics Arizona YouTube channel.

While not required, attendees are encouraged to RSVP.  Additional details will be sent to those attendees who RSVP and can also be found online at www.SpecialOlympicsArizona.org.
