Local High Schools renew status as national banner Unified Champion Schools
To achieve award, Unified Champion Schools must successfully maintain 10 standards of excellence
Raymond S. Kellis High School, Sunrise Mountain High School and Verrado High School have just RENEWED their status as national banner Unified Champion Schools!
To achieve this award, these Unified Champion Schools successfully maintain 10 standards of excellence determined by Special Olympics, with a focus on creating sustainable Unified programs through Unified Sports, inclusive youth leadership, and whole-school engagement. These three schools first received national banner status in 2017 and have sustained and grown their Unified Champion School efforts for many years!
Join us in congratulating them for their continued hard work towards the Inclusion Revolution!
